When I originally started seeing Dr.Higgins he was wonderful,staff not so much. Over time it seems he became disinterested in his patients and oath to "DO NO HARM". Suboxone treatment is expensive and gives Doctors an abuse of power because you must pay cash. In my opinion, He sold out to opiates himself. If you want a mental health professional that never looks at you or asks how you're doing and gives you refills. He's your man. However, for recovering addicts this is not a good plan of action. I began seeing Dr. Higgins in early 2014. He is an amazing psychiatrist and truly cares for his patients. I have ALWAYS felt like he had my best interest in mind, was easy to talk to, listened attentively, and wanted to collaborate with me on my treatment plan. Unfortunately, he does not own this practice (Legacy Behavioral Health) which as of this writing (October 2018) currently employs a main office employee who recently verbally abused me and made very serious false accusations against me that make me no longer feel safe... read more
