Awful Awful. I believe he lost his license. At least that’s what the medical practice he was employed by told us.
Horrible bedside manner. Did a cursory exam and within 3 minutes, determined that my Mom had Parkinsons. She had a second opinion and the new MD stated that she has no indications of her problem being Parkinson. He acted like he could have cared less to evaluate and treat her. She also cancelled 3 out of 4 visits, for whatever reason. When he left the practice, he left his patients not knowing who they were being referred to for future care. Horrible service by this MD.
It has taken me about 6 months to write this review. I saw this Dr. the end of July. My mother has had essential tremors for as long as I can remember (she just turned 90). I had noticed the same thing going on with me so I made an appointment to see him just for conformation. In 15 minutes he told me very flippant I had Parkinsons Disease. He then said "very matter of factly I could be wrong" ! I was really taken back! Dr Kamen should be barred from practicing. He’s very rushed in his visits and prescribes medications that are not needed by making false diagnoses, which is what he tried to do to me. I wonder if he got a kick back? He also transcribed his notes in the hallway, in front of the rooms, over his microphone. I could hear him talking about an 83 yr old man with Alzheimer’s that fell. And then he transcribed my notes in which I overheard him saying she has hallucinations. Which is far from the truth
