I booked an appointment three months in advance specifically to see Dr. Chao. I chose this office only because I wanted to be seen by this particular doctor, and I waited patiently for my appointment date. When I arrived, I was told without any prior notice that I had been assigned to a different doctor because Dr. Chao “was not coming that day.” I asked the front desk why I was scheduled for Thursday if they knew she would only be in on Monday.
