Dr. Chesnut was recommend by my Cardiologist to perform a hernia repair. I met with Dr. Chesnut and he gave me an upfront evaluation of me problem,. I initially declined surgery because of other medical conditions. I eventually decided I should undergo surgery to prevent further complications. Dr. Chesnut calmly reassured me the surgery could be performed without great risk to my general health. I had the surgery performed about three weeks ago and I am well on my way to a total recovery. Dr. Chesnut is very caring and an excellent surgeon. He takes the time to explain the procedure and potential risks along with alternatives. He never seemed rushed during office visits or on the day of surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Chesnut if you need any type of general surgery.
So, so friendly and informative. He took more time out to explain my condition, I personally feel, than the specialist did at another location. He really cares and is interested in the well being of the patient.
