Dr. Berkelhammer performed a colonoscopy on me in April 2021. Before the colonoscopy, I told Dr. Berkelhammer I thought I had colon cancer because of my unexplained weight loss, abdominal distension and pain, anemia, change in bowel habits, diarrhea, and black stools. After the colonoscopy, Dr. Berkelhammer said definitively that there was no cancer. He did not explain why I was experiencing symptoms of colon cancer, and he did not address the symptoms.
