The ER waiting room is disgusting shut hole..
I would not recommend this hospital at all… floors were dirty. 1 hour wait in the emergency room FROM a gunshot wound patient, which I understand that there are other patients which wasn’t even the problem. They talked about issues out loud in front of multiple other people in the waiting room… I feel like they do not respect privacy AT ALL. That’s the least thing that they care about here. A very busy ER in the evening but seemed to be well staffed and pretty well organized. Friendly, helpful staff.
Is really like to give this a 5 but to many little things added up. First let me say that I did get excellent care both in the ER and after being admitted. First, in the ER, there were a ton of people, no biggie, it's downtown and crowded, but to have so many people sitting right on top of each other is nuts. The center was busy when I arrived, but I was treated fairly and well by staff members there. Despite the high stress environment, I felt like the staff did the best they could to keep everything orderly, clean, and safe for everyone. I ended up waiting 4 hours to be seen by a doctor and then was treated by a series of doctors and nurses for 10 hours of testing and evaluation.
