I have been to alot of hospitals and Barnes Jewish ER is amongst the best. I had the pleasure (yes pleasure) of being helped by the "painless surgeon" ********(name redacted) do not ask for him because he is modest and will not answer.
The only test they did on me was a noise swab and that was it which was negative. I was in the ER a week before at MoBap and they did blood work and in that blood work it showed that I have had mono but it said it was not active mono. They said if you get worse come back. I was worse and not a drug seeker and was not asking for pains meds. I felt like I had an infection some where in my body. I asked are you going to run some test? Busy-Extremely but some of the most professional and caring staff you will find. The Emergency Room staff at BJC displayed level of care and awareness early this morning that I have to say thank you for. Ivana and Tavianna noticed that my SO was passing in and out of consciousness, they immediately reacted and got her into a bed. This has been an ongoing problem because of other health issues that had been overlooked by other medical professionals for three months. Overall unprofessional and rude nurses here. And they will make you wait hours in the er.
