Dr. Castillo gave detailed information about my gallbladder surgery; however, I went back and forth between his office and my cardiologist’s office to get the right clearance form signed. At the post-op check-up, he did not examine the surgical sites, and when I brought up that I had developed a large bump next to the main incision, he told me it was my rib. This was for my hernia surgery. Great stress free experience. The office personal are nice and efficient. Lisa, Castillo’s assistant is super great. Dr Castillo is a great surgeon. Everything he said was on point. I highly recommend them.
Had a great experience receiving a cholecystectomy with Dr. Castillo for bilary colic. My gallbladder was hyperactive with an ejection fraction of 96%. Dr. Castillo's a very straight to the point and skilled doctor, this being my first major surgery it was made a breeze. Personally my recovery was not as wretched as some people claim post op for this procedure was. I had no gallstones upon removal but the gallbladder was inflamed and covered in scar tissue. Dr. Castillo made me feel comfortable the whole time. I got my gallbladder out a month ago and have had no complications. The incisions healed beautifully. The whole team is sweet and answered every concern I had.
