Very poor mental health care expirience. I have been in the Akron Children's phyc unit multiple times and have not felt heard, listened to or understood by this doctor on multiple accounts. Alot of people can agree that during a crisis, feelings are complicated. I have responded before to a question of how am I feeling with "I don't know" and he had said rudely "you are not allowed to say 'I don't know'." I attempted suicide and was met with one of the worst mental health professional experiences of my life. I asked him if he even cared about me at all or felt any empathy towards me, to which he stated, "I don't see how that's relevant". He shared every single thing I said with my parents, even when it was completely unnecessary. He told them if I had access to pills I would take them all immediately, which wasn't even true at that point, not to mention how concerning it was to hear for my parents. Terrible.
