I was not able to sleep during the winter because the heaters are extremely loud and old, so they produce these loud cranking noises at night. I can hear the cranking noises above and below my floor. I complained about the heater several times, but management didn't do anything about it. Additionally, the heaters often stop working in the middle of the night, so it gets very cold in the apartment during the winter. I have to wrap myself in 3 blankets AND my jacket in order to stay warm.
Management is supposed to organize the mailroom, but the mailroom is always disorganized - imagine packages and mail thrown everywhere. Sometimes I become so frustrated that I come back down later to try and find my packages again. Moreover, there is no security in the mailroom. Anyone can take your package and leave, and my friends have lost their packages. One time, I could not find the prescription medications I ordered by mail. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Rodents run free, elevator never works properly, maintenance issues are rampant AND not addressed, pipes leak, paint job is appalling, doors don't close, hallways reek, fixtures are old and break easily, water is constantly yellow, water shutoffs occur approximately once every month, forcing residents to question whether the apartment's management has any sense of general sanitation.
