I am very grateful for Dr. Berde. He has helped me throughout my cancer journey greatly. He is incredibly intelligent and put together puzzle pieces to determine a comprehensive and effective pain management treatment. He’s a great listener and very compassionate. 5 stars!
Edit 5/29/24: Dr. Berde IS NOT the problem; the Administration of Boston Children's Hospital won't let Dr. Berde do but so much. Dr. Berde saved my kids life; he's saved a lot of other kids lives and he continues to save lives. The hospital he has dedicated over 30 years to has turned its back on science for his pain patients and turned its back on the documented scientific genius that Dr. Berde brings to patients that have no other options.
This doctor failed to provide adequate pain management for my brittle bone disease (what others have commented about brittle bone disease, is related to me), refuses to negotiate with me, he only gets 1 star given how good he did my nerve blocks..otherwise, DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Find a pain doctor who has compassion and will listen to your desperate cries for help.
Run for the hills or demand a new “Doctor” if this man is assigned to your child. He is a monster of a human being.
