I switched hospitals med pregnancy away from Dr Salazar because of his bad attitude and inflexibility. He was very arrogant and did not listen.
Dr. Salazar gave me poor advise allowing me to marginally give birth to an 10.8 lb baby. I tore terribly. When I went in months later because I wasn’t healing he told me I shouldn’t have sex. I think wasn’t but I was in pain for six months after giving birth.
If i could give Salazar a 0 star i would. We paid money to have my girlfriend checked out because she can’t get pregnant. He ran all the tests and then after says he won’t prescribe the necessary meds because we aren’t married. That’s incredibly unprofessional and is none of his business nor is it his place to stick his nose. Also today he sent me to a clinic to drop off a semen sample to rule out my being infertile, to a place that doesn’t accept or do semen analysis. Dr. Salazar and his team were amazing for me! Everyone from the front office staff to the behind the scenes people truly cared about helping me however they could. Stacy went above and beyond to help with short term disability paperwork that I know was annoying and Dr. Salazar listened to me and actually fixed my concern instead of trying to treat with medicine. I recommend this practice wholeheartedly!
Poor bedside manner. He did not care to listen to my concerns. Basically disregarded me and rushed my appointment. It was a highly upsetting experience. I will not subject myself to that unprofessional situation again. I have found another OBGYN.
My daughter had exploratory surgery by Charles Salazar. On Tuesday. My daughter started having severe abdominal pain Wednesday evening. After calling Salazar's office to tell him of her discomfort, the office stated that Salazar ordered pain medication. But when we went to pick up the meds, no order was placed. I was super nervous at first, due to Dr. Salazar being male but was very surprised with how comfortable he made me feel. He and his staff were all so friendly and reassuring. I would recommend Dr. Salazar to anyone!
