This is the doctor you want for your knee surgery. Doctor DeCook and his entire team ( Payton & Dr Sullivan, anesthesiologist were the two with whom I had the most interaction on surgery day) were absolutely marvelous, very caring, very informative, professional, and friendly. I liked the mandatory pre-surgical class to help you know what is typical to experience in recovery as well as what is not. Decook uses a scan to (as I understand it) create a virtual environment for him to compare with what he’s seeing during the procedure in order for him to more precisely align the implant so that “you won’t be walking in circles” after the procedure.
