I use this station 2-3 times weekly. From 10am-3pm both places are always occupied by the same two cars for hours (black Tesla and small BMW i3) for several months now. I enjoy that the City of Glen Cove is offering free charging, but I would prefer to pay a little bit and have 4 charging stations instead of 2. As an alternative, Glen Cove should at least start billing cars if they stand there for more than 2 hours.
Very busy charging station. Always the same people charging their car for free. The city of Glen Cove should charge everybody, I don't care paying.
The charger is located inside the municipal parking garage, behind the storefronts on the Main Street. They offer 4 hours of free parking and free charging in the ev only spaces, and even have a reserved queuing space for the next ev in line to park while waiting. Thank you Glen Cove
