We hired them to help set some trusses and frame the front wall of our new garage. The garage wall is not plum/level and the framing and sheathing is off to the point where you can see a gap between the sheathing and my level when I put a straight edge up to it . The first time I tried to put the service door in I could not get it Square so I put my level on the framing that they did and it was an inch out of square. Chapton Construction built a detached garage and new driveway on the original footprint of a demolished garage. They had the most detailed estimate including knowing all the city of Grand Rapids codes and their price was in the middle of the five estimates I got. Despite code issues (I had to end up getting a survey), my changing the plans and a record snowstorm they completed the job when they said they would and on budget. Hired for a new bathroom remodel and a new kitchen floor for my mother’s mobile home. She needed a walk in shower and floor had water damage. They went above and beyond what I expected. Showed up on time, communicated well and most importantly did an amazing job. So happy with the results. Great team from the drywaller ,floor installer and general workers. Stayed within budget.
