Sold Gift Certificates for Guilford location the entire month of December 2025. Gave it to my mom for Christmas and January 4th 2026 they closed for "renovations". They are still Closed 7 months later and have never reached out to those they scammed on gift cards. The owners are the same in Mystic, do the right thing. No im not driving 30 exits to use the 100.00 gift card.

Food is all frozen and everything comes in a bag. Don’t go here nothing is authentically made from scratch.

The food was awful and substandard - it was expensive and poor quality. We went to Chapter One for a special occasion. We arrived on a Saturday night and only two other parties were there. There was a snowstorm earlier in the day, so we thought maybe that was the reason but two other restaurants within walking distance were booked, but since it was 7:00pm, we decided to give them another try. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Went here on a Wednesday for happy hour. We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful day. The patio is gorgeous. There's a beautiful lawn behind it with some art sculptures. It's very serene and amazing. The happy hour cocktails were delicious and inexpensive. We had the mango habanero wings and the loaded fries. Both were 9.5/10. Our server was funny and friendly. 10/10 experience. Will definitely go back. I stopped by Chaptrr One anf had my dog with me. We sat out by the fire pit and my server also brought a bowl of water for my dog. We had a lovely experience.
