The staff is definitely the problem. We drove from Pecos, we were greeted with one of the receptionists mumbling "I'll be right with you" to a 75 year old mom that was already flustered from the hassle of even getting in the office. My mom is in a wheelchair and we struggled to get in the doors since they are manual and there is no button to open them. I had Mohs surgery on 04/28/2026 on my face. Ritchie Rosso Jr., MD Is a very caring doctor and did a great job. He ever called me 4 days after my surgery to check on me. I was find but during the night I was having issues with swelling returning to my eye area. I was a little worried. I called him on Saturday and he called me back right away. He was even out of town. The whole experience I had with the front office staff all the way to the doctor and nurse/assistant in the back was great visit was quick and easy.

When someone gets diagnosed with cancer, the LEAST the front staff could do is a be a LITTLE understanding or have some sort of empathy. When you’re a patient and you get results in that you have cancer, their whole world flips upside down. Don’t work in the medical field if you cannot be a decent human being!

I suspect the recurrence of skin cancer so scheduled an appointment with soonest available 3 months out. I patiently waited then later received a call that Jason D cancelled all his appointments that day. I called back to reschedule and told the soonest available is another 90 days and they have no control to make it any sooner. At this rate, I don’t see how they properly care for patients with urgent needs! I’ll be finding another Dr ASAP!
