Found out that my commercial liability insurance didn't cover water or wind damage on my equipment rider. We lost nearly 100k during hurricane Helene in tools, equipment, saws, 3 commercial mowers, skidsteer, 2 chippers, and other various equipment. I was never offered that coverage, or did I sign anything saying I didn't want it. After the fact, i found out it would have added a couple hundred dollars to my yearly premium. I'm disappointed I wasn't made aware of this when I signed up, as I absolutely would have paid for it.... read more
