We had leased from Chapman Ford for 8 years and when we went to turn the last one in, they had added a bunch of fees for going over mileage, etc. That’s fine. We asked how they could work with the fees and they said they would if we bought a car from them. Bought a new car in August 2018. Dealer refuses to respond to my questions in regards to anti theft being added to my contract and there is no proof they ever installed it on the vehicle. They refuse to explain the mechanical breakdown agreement when no such agreement was included with my contract, in addition to other things they refuse to explain. They should not be allowed to do business anywhere and should be shut down for violating consumer protection laws.

Well they did it again!!They far exceeded my expectations!!! CHAPMAN FORD IS THE BEST DEALERSHIP IN THE COUNTRY Ok let me explain. My car's battery died Friday night 1/25/2019. I called my insurance company ******* roadside assistance, they told me it would be at least 1 hr. Luckily after about 5 minutes a gentleman asked if i needed a jump so i called ***** back & cancelled. Upon receiving the jump the car started right up, full power ( so i thought) . I had a horrible experience with this dealership buying a used vehicle. My first issue with then is the fact they sold me a car that was in an accident and didn't tell me about it. By law, they need to disclose that to a prospective buyer. The second issue is that they sold me two antitefht warranties without even asking me, they installed them in the vehicle and refused to remove them after I complained to them and demanded a refund, since they included the cost in the contract, I didn't notice it until I had paid cash for ... read more

I brought my Ford truck in for having the check engine light on. It was a recall that they repaired. Of course while running a health check they found a long list of repairs that they would recommend attention. I picked and chose what should be repaired right away. What I appreciated from service rep was he suggested ways for me to have the repairs done in order, he gave me a loaner vehicle, they truck was ready when promised. First of all, I did not do business with Chapman Ford in Scottsdale, AZ because the deal offered for a car purchase seemed predatory. I found a car at Chapman Ford, who sought financing with C A G Acceptance and with added fees, the interest rate was essentially 60%. The salesman told me it was for 24%, but for this rate, the fees added considerably raised the price of the car. Bad experice the sales person just wanted to get you inside promised better deal then what they had advertised , then once inside never happened instead when we left and had signed the contract they had raised the prise on the vehicle , people make sure you check your contract before

I am writing this to warn other people about this dealership and to share my experience so others can possibly gain from it in their car purchase. I began looking online for a compact 4-door car preferrably used. I settled on a 2012 ford focus and picked chapman ford because they had one in stock that i liked and felt was a reasonable price. Purchased a new Escape from Chapman Ford / Scottsdale in November '15. Pretty good overall experience so when we considered buying another better equipped one I called and was sent to "David" in the internet dept. Explained what I was looking for & he promised to send availability, equipment and pricing info. That was 4 days ago & still no call back. Assuming they're not interested in selling a repeat customer.
