Great experience at Chapman Auto Werks! Super friendly and easy to talk to, and they explained everything in a way that actually made sense. They got the work done quickly, and the pricing was fair with no surprises, which I really appreciated. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but these guys definitely made me feel comfortable leaving my car with them. You can tell they really care about their customers and do solid work. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable shop!
Highly recommend. I had Taylor and Jeff do a PPI before purchase, and several upgrades after. Pricing was reasonable, and you can tell they take pride in their work. Their knowledge-base and attention to detail are evident. I've been extremely happy with every interaction I've had with them, and am thrilled to have such a great go-to shop for my Porsche.
The first red flag should have been the shop does not provide quotes or estimates for any work until they see the car. Chapman assured me via email they are “30% cheaper then other shops in the area”. Ok - Dropped my car off the night prior and was told I’ll have a quote the following day. 3 days later I got the quote. I was not even upset, just impressed they could outprice the Porsche dealer. Taylor and Geoff are fantastic. I've been a Porsche owner for 17 years, recently, discovered them. It is a bit of a trek for me. They are out in Sterling. However, the silver line is very convenient if you live closer to DC just take the silver line to innovation station and it's a $10 Uber ride. Taylor Chapman is well known in the Porsche circles.
