Use plumber to install a new hot water heater in our attic. The connections were improperly tightened and water leaked onto the ceiling causing damage to the ceiling and carpet below. I tried repeatedly to resolve this matter with the contractor who promised to come out after I he observed the damage when he repaired the faulty connections. He never returned, and we ended up paying $400 to repair the ceiling, not to include the cost to stream clean the carpets and paint the ceiling.
