Today on a day off from work I decide to give myself a gift and for the first time I decide to visit opshop and vintage stores, I find this place and I am enchanted, and I also found what I was looking for, I arrived at the cash register and the “gentleman”making the total belt and socks 35$ and I had added stickers and patches of which I had not considered the price well. Variety and quality at reasonable prices.
Incredible store filled with treasures. You could spend many hours scouring through the endless maze of trinkets, clothing, collectables, kitchenware, furniture and the giant fake rhinoceros priced at a cool $3k. A definite must if you love the old school goodness Don’t go there expecting a bargain, but worth it to have an incredible curated collection of vintage pieces.
Been coming here for a good forage for over twenty years and it’s maybe not quite as jam-packed with amazing finds as it once was, but we have never left without a few interesting treasures. Whether your jam is a weird taxidermy curio, groovy midcentury homewares or Bakelite bangles in every colour, you’ll find it here, and if not, it’s still an interesting way to while away a couple of hours, checking out all the nostalgic ephemera. Prices vary from stall to stall, so it’s within everyone’s budget.
