We came to Chapel House to get away from the city and had a wonderful time. The weather was cold at night and sunny by day. The grounds are the highlight. They are private and peaceful with geese, cockatoos and rosellas on the property. The house feels like a home, not just a house. It has high ceilings, lots of character and a large dining room. There are a few bathrooms and lots of indoor and outdoor seating as well as a big kitchen so it would be great for a weekend getaway for a group. The kitchen had anything we wanted ... read more
Fantastic place to kick back and relax, great views, great gardens. Lots of history and the place is very clean.. Plenty of things to see and do, would be a beautiful place to come during the winter.
