Doctors who care – I know there are complaints about the waits, but it's no different from any of the other practices I've gone to. I am currently going there for my ob care, and I have been very pleased by the personalized attention of the docs there. I was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and I was immediately seen and given all the time I wanted for my questions to be answered. Horrible OB GYN practice! – I moved to Chapel Hill over 6 years ago. Upon first moving here I settled on this practice as there are not many to choose from in the area. The first few years were fine. Dr. Clark was great in and out, very busy but friendly. Short , sweet, simple visit...what I look for. Last year, during my visit with Dr. Clark, as I lay spread eagle on the table, she gets a text from her cell in her pocket. too many cancellations - long waits – I am pregnant with my first child and was recommended to this practice by a co-worker. My last two appointments in two months have been cancelled due to "family emergencies" within the practice. The first cancellation was because another doctor - not even the one I was seeing - had a family emergency and apparently my doctor was covering some of the other doctor's appointments. Wonderful, caring physicians – This is the only private practice in Chapel Hill, and I really wanted a physician in a private setting, versus seeing a resident from UNC or Duke. When I asked around for recommendations for an ob/gyn, everyone said that this was THE practice to go to. The docs all seem really knowledgeable and experienced.
