Terrible food and service. Ordered the mahi tacos but was served catfish instead. The manager and server were irritated that I advocated for myself that I did not want catfish and wanted to change my order, but from their reaction I ended up not getting anything else and asked for the check. Ordered the fajitas mixtas Wednesday 1pm-ish jan 24th, they forgot the tortillas which is absolutely essential and fundamental to the meal. It's the same as ordering tacos but just getting a pile of meat and onions/cilantro without the wraps. The presence of wraps and tortillas change how your physically eat the food and it also changes the overall flavors. Was told about Chapala from a friend. I am still stunned on how great of an experience my fiancee and I had. The food was outstanding and the portion was beyond what you would see at other Main street eateries. The drinks were out of this world and they poured heavy which is hard to find in Ann Arbor. Jose was polite and made our visit FUN. The atmosphere and music made you feel fantastic. It is our go to restaurant and bar, before we go to Pinball Pete's.
We had a great experience! Nice vibes, delicious food, excellent service!
