So this was my first time at the restaurant. We were seated and waited for our waiter/waitress. Well that took about 20 minutes..no waiter/waitress, water or I will be back. We waited..I ask for the Manager of course he was busy..now if you are short staff as a Manager you call staff to come in to help. Finally the hostess got us drinks...food..and that is why she got the tip. The hostess apologize and I was very grateful. I their food but their drinks are entirely too darn expensive!!!! I was there for a bday party and was very disappointed!! We had to move the party because of the drink prices!!
The atmosphere is EVERYTHING!!! Nice people, limited menu, but Excellent. The Drinks are kinda pricey, but Very Good!!! A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT.
Love the food, live band night and the pear martini is divine. Especially if you don't like it too sweet like me. However I took some peanut butter bread pudding home, opened it up and did not know what to make of it. I will order in- house to see the true finish product before a full assessment.
One of my favorite spots. I love the food and the cocktails. House Music was a guilty pleasure.

I ❤ Chant Restaurant in Hyde Park, Chicago. They have superb food, potent drinks, and on some Saturdays, HOUSE MUZIK pumpin' all night long! It's close to my home and Chants ALWAYS delivers me a FUNKY GOOD TIME!!! See you tonight!! (Y)
