I moved about about a month ago, and I loved living here. I meant to write a review sooner, but as I've been looking at moving in April I am considering moving back to Channingway. The office staff was always kind and maintenance always arrived in a timely manner. Great neighbors and a quite neighborhood.
Do not move here!!! The office is as terrible and shady as all of the reviews say. The day I was supposed to move in, I was told my apartment wouldn’t be ready that day because the carpet was not installed. I had maintenance in and out of my apartment for months trying to fix a dishwasher from the 1990s instead of just replacing it. I had to get my washer replaced. I lived here for 4 years. Once I moved out I got your standard invoice in the mail for wear and tear after moving out. $25 for a dirty blind. When confronted they said if they tried to clean it, it would break so they charged me full price for some dust on a blind. $10 for a shower rod THAT WAS THERE WHEN I MOVED OUT. I provided proof that it was there when I moved out. Yet I was still charged for it. $10 for a hole in the wall their staff came and fixed. Once confronted about it they removed the charge. I’d like to come on here both as an employee and as a tenant at this complex to first adress Amy Lynn’s review, we worked together back in 2023 for around 4 months or so and what a displeasure that was, we extended our hands to you and gave you compassion and understanding, you took advantage of Christa’s kindness and our trust by lying to tenants and making them cry, by stealing money from me directly and having the disrespect to lie afterwards, and telling people you were the manager and property manager when you were an a... read more
