Its been 3 years now today since I originally went in for bilateral knee Replacements March 15th of 2021. 3 years since the nightmare began. 12 days after 1st surgery l ended up in the emergency room with severe pain and left knee blown up. Lets us start, I am a 100% disabled Combat Veteran, this I informed the physician, all was great informed him that I speak honestly straight to the point if he has issue with that tell me and lets get it handled. Dr. Channer is the absolute best! His nurse Judy was also great! He performed an Anterior Bilateral Total Hip Surgery on me and EVERYONE who knows me couldn’t believe how my post surgery pain, recovery and ALL progress seemed effortless! I hit my 14 month since surgery and I am sooo happy!,

I saw Dr. Channer in July 2019 for increasing pain in my knee that had been partially replaced. After the x-ray, he simply said that it needs to be completely replaced. There was no examination or compassion, no follow-up call. I left feeling bewildered. I stopped doing whatever aggravated my knee, like walking:( I'm getting a second opinion, eventhough the results will probably be the same, but I need a bit more reassurance; maybe a little empathy as well. I had a total knee replacement May 1. With the pre-surgery advice and the post-surgery help, and especially the exacting care from Dr. Channer during the actual surgery, my recovery was without a problem. By my 6 week check-up I was walking without a cane and now, two months out, I'm back to walking miles. As Dr. Channer was careful to tell me, I did my exercises faithfully and am glad to have a new knee.

Excellent. As opposed to being in a wheel chair, I am pain free and with my new knees, I can play table tennis every day for as much as two hours with no side effects.
Dr Channer may be a "great" surgeon but he failed to recognize a serious problem with my knee. My result was continued pain, extended Physical Therapy creating more pain that was unnecessary. Second opinion resulted in corrective surgery at another facility. I am now pain free.
