Had a mass removed in my arm and was told by the doctor that it was his bread and butter surgery. I was told I would not have a scar and that it would heal sufficiently within 2 months. I had two virtual visits scheduled after my surgery that he missed. I sent photos in place of both appointments and was told that it looks fine. I later found out that in the second photo the wound had opened up even though he told me it was healing well. He may not have the best bedside manner, you may be a bit truculent, but he certainly knows what he's doing. I had the robotic one done and have not experienced one second of pain. I prepared myself for the absolute worst and thankfully got the best. No pain, no discomfort. I didn't do any research on him prior to the surgery. I had my first appointment with Dr. Chandra on March 13th, and despite being fully booked until May, he was incredibly kind and considerate. He went out of his way to schedule my surgery on March 18th. Dr. Chandra is a highly skilled and compassionate surgeon, and I am truly grateful for his exceptional care. I still have lots of pain.
