The home plans are beautiful. When purchasing a home make sure you know if there are fire hydrants, the nearest fire department, the utility company servicing the the subdivision and who is responsible for the street maintenance. This is essential information to know.

I closed on my DR Horton home 4 months ago. This has been a terrible experience from day one—only worsened since closing. DR Horton has not cared and the on-site supervisor for DR Horton is even worse. The workmanship is terrible…the molding, the tile work and the cabinets all have issues. The roof leaked for weeks, they won’t repair the siding where they corrected the leak. Half my DR Horton sod was dead the day we moved in. They promised me then they would replace it—that was 4 months ago. They created massive culvert ditc... read more
