Would give ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely ATROCIOUS treatment by the ER staff (with the exception of the lovely woman working intake, she was very pleasant, professional and caring). The Dr and nurse on duty were rude, dismissive, and lacked ALL bedside manner. Complete, and utter disregard for what the patient had to say, despite the fact that the Dr and nurse have NO idea what to do for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome/Histamine (something that some reports suspect almost 20% of the population suffers from). Ive been here multiple times to fix mistakes that conemaugh made. The only negatives were the wait time and the lady at the desk( last time i was here she asked why? And i said i have kidney stones and she very rudely said we don't have a urology department here!) Butassoon as you get past the doors the drs and nurses are amazing very compassionate!

I had a severe allergic reaction couldn't breathe and i sat there for a hr before they took me back. My little sister was 2 months old and was throwing up everytime she ate and we took her there twice sent us home both times went to conemaugh she had rsv and pneumonia they admitted her right away we filled a complaint asking for just a apology never got one

I would give less if I could. My husband, who has a TBI and issues with memory and is easily overstimulated went to the ER, we drove up. During triage I asked if I could go back, they said no. I told them he had a TBI, had trouble remembering and was very uncomfortable with the nurse who triaged him the last time we were here (because he had trouble answering questions) - they still refused to allow me back.
