I read their web site for what kind of repairs they do, read through the reviews to get a feeling for the quality of work, and called to make an appointment. "Press 1 for dryer vent cleaning, press 2 if you are a landlord or have a commercial account, 3 for residential repairs." Pressed 3. "We are currently not doing residential repairs at this time. Arron went above and beyond. He explained everything he was doing and why. I had arranged for him to fix one issue with my stove. I asked him if he knew about dryers as well. I thought my old dryer was on its last legs. In 5 minutes, he fixed that too. He was amazing.
He arrived, but then it went downhill from there. I can't say I valued the 5 minutes he spent in my home. He was supposed to diagnose my washing machine, but the very brief 5 minutes he spent starting the wash, declaring it needed to be replaced entirely, and leaving, he didn't properly diagnose the problem. In the writeup from the company charging $125 for that 5 minute "diagnosis", they declared it was "bad bearings" and said it wasn't worth fixing. Arron has 45 years of experience and it shows. He was incredibly fast to diagnose and make repairs both times he has been out over the years. Coordination with the front office couldn't have been easier or more efficient.
