Champa Garden is not bad. The restaurant was full at 7pm on a Wednesday night. It had vibes of the Osha Thai (now defunct) on Geary and Leavenworth. You know, dim lighting and noisy. I had the Tom Kha $17.50 (coconut based sour soup) with shrimp and Pad Thai, also with shrimp $16.50. The reason I came here was because they close at 9pm. Their Champa Sampler is absolutely delicuous with the fried rice ball salad as a true showstopper. We also tried the Larp Lao style salad with duck, which wasn't the most interesting dish, and the Lad Na had good flavor but a little too much gravy. Portion sizes were great for the price and the staff were very quick with providing napkins and utensils. Phenomenal service.

We love Champa garden very consistently amazing flavorful food and by flavorful I mean the best flavors. Sadly we placed an order today of a handful of plates including calamari...the dish was not only comically small but it was also unseasoned literally taste like batter without salt pepper or anything else, I would've emailed directly as again we love this restaurant and feel like they would've made it right, but there was no option. The other dishes were great

The worst ever mango sticky rice. It’s mango season and the mango couldn’t even be bitten and was super sour. The color of the fruit was a very pale yellow. Not ripe. They could’ve warned me their mango isn’t ripe yet.
