Hands down - Dr. Young and the majority of his staff are simply rude. He has a flat approach, shows little empathy. His front office and back office staff are equally just as rude. He did my surgery, I had complications afterward - whether surgery related or not, they were not concerned with my well being. And I just tried to pay a bill - and have to laugh out loud because they can't even get paid without being rude. Please, please go somewhere else!
Took time with me to explain what was wrong with my knee. KInd, experienced and thorough physician.
Total Knee Replacement. My knee is doing great. I sit at my computer station, legs bent, under the desk and have no pain.
This is the most arrogant and rude doctor I've ever met!! Do yourself a favor and consider another Dr.
Tom Chambers replaced both of my hips, and I couldn't have found a more qualified surgeon anywhere on the East Coast. He is a caring, professional, highly qualified doctor, who also treats you like family , and puts you at ease. I give Tom a 5-star rating.
The worst experience I've ever had. Showed no compasion in helping me. He even contradicted himself on the time frame of my injury. Exact words: your knee will be back to normal in 4 to 6 weeks. After I reminded him it had been 5 months already. He then said your knee may never be the same again. He never recomended anything for me. He did not want to help me period. Please people. There are many other Doctors to choose from other than this one. Do your research before considering Dr Ward.
This was a terrible visit. Dr. Young did not even look at the xrays, told my daughter that she has flexible flat foot and said she needs to take ibprofen. She is in so much pain all the time, she can't even make it through 1 visit to the grocery store without riding on the cart, she is 12 . She is in pain every day. He did say he was no good and would recommend another doctor, at least he got that part right. Completely rude and uncaring.
I've been seeing Dr. Callihan for years with knee pain. I did not want to have surgery but I had tried every option possible, medicine, physical therapy, injections nothing helped. I had a knee replacement two months ago ... it has been a life changer. Finally, I'm able to play with the grandchildren, walk on the beach and enjoy life.
My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Young and appreciate his 'laid-back-little-talk' manner which we do not equate with incompetency. Dr. Young performed exemplary surgery on my husband's toe and my knee. As for me and my husband, we will continue to use the medical services of Dr. Young and is friendly staff, with complete trust.
