Got a $50 ticket for parking on the street from 11 pm to 6 am. No signs, no reason to expect an "illegal camping" ticket of $50. Don't pull into the town of West Yellowstone without a plan and a pre-reserved place to park. We pulled into town and planned on staying a couple of days. With a ticket on our windshield after being in town for 6 hours and no signage to suggest it is illegal, we took our tourist money and moved on. Us, we'll never go back. The park was beautiful, the town, well?

West Yellowstone Chamber does a wonderful job of bringing tourism to West Yellowstone and of informing people of the areas events and sites to see. Everyone must go to explore West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park.
