I lived in Beloit until I was 40. Moved because general motors closed. I was shocked and disgusted at the state of the city. It's filthy and unkept. The roads are absolutely horrible, I live in Kansas City now so that says something. It seems the only attention and care seems to be out near the gateway. Such a shame it used to be a lovely little city.
