Our first experience with Chalfont Motor Lodge came about while I was temporarily staying with parents in TN and we made multiple trips to Bucks county in order to find a new residence for me as I could no longer afford the rent I was having to pay in Dublin, PA. The hotels/motels in this area are rather expensive. The Chalfont Motor Lodge, in contrast, has excellent pricing, is conveniently located, the rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the owner is both friendly and very helpful. The first review seems to have been written by the owners. I Needed a place to stay while here for business. Room appeared neat and clean until I went to go use the shower. Shower had bugs and when I tried to turn on the shower head after killing them it barely worked. You get what you pay for!
On the recommendation of a good friend who spent a getaway weekend here, i decided to rent a room for a night wheni found myself in a pickle with my car being repaired. I was given a small, but tidy room, with a small tv & satellite programming. I was woken up at 1:30am by the heater coming on & sat up in bed. I realized the blanket i was using had about 6 bugs on it. I shot out of bed, promptly mashed as many as i could get & flushed them away. The Owners were friendly and under priced for the area. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was also convently located. If you want the feeling of confort and not over priced this the place for you. It was nice to stay at a American Owned and operated hotel. And to see the American Dream at work.
