I genuinely didn’t want to be in a position where I had to leave a negative review, as my friends and I were extremely understanding throughout the entire situation. Unfortunately, the way the host chose to handle things once we checked out left us with no other option. We stayed here for a friend’s 30th birthday and on the first night discovered a serious cockroach infestation in the kitchen. Fantastic house. You feel like you are somewhere in Aix en Provence. Really, really beautifully decorated rooms, the view is amazing, the pool is a great idea (always). There is a backyard too but we didn’t use it. The kitchen is well-equipped so we cooked a dinner and stayed there enjoying nature. I was not the main client so I can’t rate the communication… but I definitely will be back!
I found and booked this accommodation online. The website showed the accommodation available and when I booked the accommodation it took the total amount of the accommodation on my credit card. I then get a phone call to say the accommodation is no longer available and has been booked out for months. Despite this they did not update their website. Our stay at Chalet De Tranquillité was peaceful and relaxing. Simoné was extremely accomodating. Communication was outstanding. Highly recommend staying at Chalet De Tranquillité !!
