Took my children here and just felt very uncomfortable. My child who is becoming a teenager spent 5 min with a nurse and stated that she felt sad sometimes on a questionaire. The nurse broached sending her to a psychiatrist and being put on medication. After 5 min on our first visit! I absolutely believe in screening for depression and other common mental health issues. Medication, however, is a last resort. SSRIs are not Vitamins.
Dr. Chakrabarty has treated my grandkids for 21 years and has done a great job his staff are friendly and helpful and he has always been respectful and nice
Dr. Chakrabarty has been dealing with my both of my sons over the past four years or so and he is exemplary. there is no other pediatric doctor in middle Tennessee or the cumberlands that I would suggest more highly and doctor chakravarty and his team at Tennessee pediatric in Sparta Tennessee and also in Cookeville Tennessee. Five stars all the way across the board that's the reason we still in Tennessee gets best doctor in the world.
I was told next round of shots. They gave her 7 shots, while I was verbally against so many. Then pushed for the flu vaccine as well on a 19lb baby. Weighed her with all her winter clothes on. Use trainees on kids for practice. Worst pediatric experience of my life and 8 have 5 kids.
His office is dirty, unorganized, long wait times (over 2 hours) even after calling to make sure there would not be a long wait time and it was a good time to come in. Sick children are in waiting room with other non contagious children. Files are stacked everywhere, inconsistent advise provided. we ask questions and he responds with "well ... maybe" leaving us with very little confidence in our doctor.
Dr. C goes above and beyond to make sure to take care of your kids. His nurse Brandi Hoover loves your kids like they are hers. Carmen is amazing always gets my kids in to see Dr.C the same day. Best Pediatric Dr. Around .
Dr. Chakrabarty has been my children's pediatrician for many years. I sometimes have to wait to see him when in the office but it's worth the wait because he takes his time and is very informative. I always look at the big picture when it comes to reviewing a service someone provides. His office is always clean when I go in and I have never been turned away for services with a sick child. I have four children and they all love him and his entire staff. They are A+ in my book!
