This used to be my hidden gem spot for sushi on this side of town. Unfortunately with new management, the quality of sushi has gone downhill. I’ll be traveling to across Jax for decent sushi now.
We had such a wonderful dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was full of flavor. We tried the pho with steak, spicy basil fried rice, Thai tea, and finished with the fried ice cream for dessert—everything was amazing! The good-the staff are nice. The bad-the food was absolutely abhorrent. We live about 5 minutes from this place and we hadn’t yet tried it since the new owner purchased it and wanted to give it a shot based on the positive reviews. We went there on a Sunday at 1pm and were the only customers in the place. Not a good sign so we decided to start small with a couple appetizers to test the waters. Good thing we did. A hidden gem in Middleburg! Sushi was fresh and filling. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Crab Rangoon was perfection.
Chai is the man! Fresh food with herbs from his own garden. Had great sushi and thought, "Can the Thai be as good?" It was! Nice and quiet, comfortable inside. Christina and Addie will take great care of you. Attentive and intuitive service from both! A new favorite place to go when I'm in Middleburg.
