We had an amazing kayak adventure! Plenty of wildlife throughout the entire route. Especially cool... you can kayak right up to Lake Erie and hang out on the beach for a while. The owners were absolutely fantastic and very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this for a fun day out!
We love launching from here! The people who run this are very kind and knowledgeable of the area. However, I do want to make a notice for anyone who paddles or boats over to the beach in front of the power plant. We recently learned the First energy employees do not like when people pull up to the beach. We have been told to leave. We were not disturbing anything or compromising the power plant. This is unfortunate, but we now own other watercraft and will continue to anchor out in the water nearby, as it is scenic, great fo... read more

1st time kayaking, the owners were very nice and we loved it!
Steve and Terri, who run the service are very friendly and helpful. I’ve been to a few other places and this place is the most personable. Many different channels to explore. Been going there for a few years now. Highly recommend.
