restaurant Nice selections on menu with excellent service and reasonable prices. Food has always been delicious, salads crispy fresh and service responsive, efficient. Happy hour is a good time to enjoy their appetizer specials.
Unable to retain its former glory. As a non-smoker, I used to be able to bear the assault on my respiratory system because the food and service was so good. No longer, I'm afraid. Since the fantastic Barbara the Manager left, things have declined, and there is no sign that it will turn around. Both food quality and service have declined, and staff simply seems not to care. If you're eating down in Old Town consider instead the new, smoke-free Overwood on Lee Street (where Ecco Cafe used to be).
Great local spot Whenever I have out of town friends come in, I take them here. Chadwicks has that 'Cheers' atmosphere, with many locals at the bar. Typically it's a younger crowd. Located off the Old Town main drag (King St.), it's a good find. Food is good American style, and prices are very resonable for this part of town. Wait staff have always been helpful and courteous.
Three thumbs up! The food and atmosphere at Chadwicks is great. It is evident by the shear amount of people that can be found at the bar, every night.
