If you find yourself in acute constant pain, ask Dr. Milstead for pain meds just to cover 5 days until your scheduled appointment with a pain doctor, emailed his assistant who replied assuring you he received your messages on Mychart and he responds FIVE DAYS later with an offer to call at the end of the day and discuss your request and you find this acceptable then he's your guy! Dr Milstead has been my primary care physician for at least 10 years. One time I came in with elevated BP and by the end of my visit my BP was down 10 points. Good Dr.
Dr. Milstead is the absolute BEST doctor I’ve ever gone to. He’s so responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He’s efficient when trying new medications instead of trying every single combination, is so understanding and kind, and is truly amazing. I recommend him to everyone I know!
You'd be hard pressed to find a more caring, compassionate doctor. He's open-minded, kind, a good listener. I don't like going to the doctor (who does?), but I actually look forward to our visits.
Fantastic PCP. Always listens, never rushes, kind, gentle, and takes my preferences into account (ex: I prefer to go a no-medication route first if possible). He’s non-judgmental and makes practical recommendations. I’ve been going to him for 15+ years and would recommend him to anyone.
