Chadwick & Son Orchids Inc was founded in 1989 by long time orchid hobbyist Art A. Chadwick, and his wife, Anne, of of WilmingtonDE, and their son, Arthur E. Chadwick, who purchased 18 acres of farmland in rural Powhatan County and built the first redwood greenhouse. During the following year, another greenhouse was added. Came in a while back looking for a Valentine's Day present for a Florist 😅. They found me a perfect showstopper from the greenhouse. Petra and the people there were super kind and knowledge. I loved the atmosphere, as plant lovers were even there to read as they looked at beautiful orchids.
Lovely shop! Went in on a whim and came out with two unique plants. Owner was very nice when there was confusion over the price. Looking forward to having my two beautiful plants for many years to come

I've never felt so welcome in a plant store than here! I know little to nothing about plants and walked out knowing so much more. I first went to the Gaskins location and was highly impressed, but not ready to buy yet. Today I visited the Belmont location and ended up with a beautiful orchid for my one year anniversary. I'll definitely be back! ❤️
