Dr. Furness is a great Dr. he has been my family DR for over a decade. He recently left GR family physicians. It’s going to be hard to replace him. Most of us stopped going to the practice after he left and I looking for a new Dr.
When discussing my options for hormone-free birth control (because of a post-op portal vein thrombosis) he asked if I had considered abstinence. I had two children at the time. I also found out he hadn't been documenting that I was getting migraines for the last five years. He doesn't listen. As a woman I found him dismissive of my concerns.
My experience with Dr. Furness has been nothing but outstanding. He truly takes the time to talk to you, understand your situation, lay out the options, and recommend a course of action. You feel important, understood, informed and in the driver's seat. He's incredibly knowledgeable and objective. What a great doctor!!!
Dr.Furness listens well and carefully develops the patient's treatment plan. I have been his patient for may years and am very satisfied with the care I have received from him.
