Hip, inventive Thai eatery brings an Eastside vibe to downtown Burbank. Nestled in the heart of the Burbank Village you will find the first Valley outpost from the family that brought you Chao Krung, tuk-tuk & Rambutan. Deep browns contrast with creamy whites in the dining area; the half-moon frosted glass bar and lounge stick to the darker hue. Kimono-style silk patchwork lines the cathedral ceilings and adds a hint of color. The menu includes staples like noodles and curries, as well as specialties like rib-eye steak with ... read more

Pure enjoyment – I can't remmember the last time I left a restaurant feeling 100% satisfied. The food is first rate, the people working were bending over backwards for our table. My boss sprung for the lunch and can be quite rude at times. This didn't phase the staff. Everyone just kept smiling and went on with the service. We returned that evening without "the boss" to apologize and have more of their wonderful food. Thanks to all at Chadaka.
Nice Ambience – Service great and food was very good. Price was very fair, great place to take someone out on a date or dinner. A very romantic place..
St Patrick's Day – The theme was "Thai-rish" eyes are smiling. Who knew that a Thai Restauarnt could throw an incredible St. Patty's Day party? Green Singha, Green Chicken Sate "Blarney Stones" and a green noodle dish called "Pot "o" gold". Can't wait for the next holiday celebration.
Best Pad Thai in Town! – I've been looking for a good local Thai restaurant since EraWan changed ownership and fell off the map. FINALLY! Just outstanding food with equally impressive presentation. The waitresses are friendly and efficient and the decor is comfortable and calming. We've eaten there three times but they had not obtained their liquor license, so I have no idea how the drinks are, but they sound delicious. Soups and appetizers are perfect and then don't get me started on the pad thai! YUM! DON'T MISS THIS ONE!
Chadaka Thai – Friends and I had dinner here on Wednesday evening. We has a disagreement, as I thought this was another arm of the Chan Dara chain and friends told me it was another arm of Rambutan in Silver Lake. The place is decorated with lots of beutiful things, including their waitresses. I read the citysearch profile and was corrwected, as this isn't another extention to CD but the offspring of Chao Krung, Tuk-Tuk & Rambutan. A delightful staff and decor surpassed only by the food...delicious.
Keep em' coming. – Property values are sure to sky-rocket. I love living in Burbank, with one small exception. All the restaurants are corporate and bland. I'd have to travel over the hill to find anything of interest. NO LONGER! Chadaka is a breath of fresh air for my wife and I. The setting is Asian Modern (I beleve I just made that up), the food is presented better that any Thai restaurant that I've ever been to. Wonderful flavors, perfect preparation and a quality to the service that sets it apart from anything in Burban... read more
Your secrets out Rebecca. – We echo all of your wonderful words. I've been there twice and I'm always greeted like I'm part of this incredible family. The Chefs are all family, I've been introduced to at least a couple Aunts, a couple Cousins, a Sister, a Brother...I could go on. The food is top notch and the prices are affordable. You can still get a table, but you're right Rebecca, it won't last.
My Little Secret – I went here the first week they opened and loved it right away. Not only is the food excellent but the service is the best in LA by far! They are so sweet and attentive- my water glass is never empty! The ambiance is superb, they always have beautiful floral arrangements and cool candles.( the music is mellow and sexy like portis head/ massive attack/ sade...) I love the Kangari and the Panang Curry... The Spinach and peanut sauce dish with tofu is soooo yummy.... I am here at least twice a week- no joke. ... read more
