**BEWARE — I would give 0 stars if I could.** My father was diagnosed with osteomyelitis, and Dr. Nunamaker was adamant that amputation was the only reasonable option. We were told that if the toe was not amputated now, it would eventually need to be amputated in 5, 10, or 15 years anyway. He stated that amputation was inevitable and told us the infection had spread into the metatarsal bone. Based on subsequent imaging, consultations, and treatment, we learned that was not the case. Dr. Nunamaker is a very caring podiatrist who has helped me with several chronic foot problems. He is gentle and conservative in his approach. He suggests surgery as a last resort, after trying other options. He communicates well and I would highly recommend him.
