Dr. Evans is a friendly, knowledgeable physician. He’s relaxed with a great bedside manner. He asks good questions and listens to the answers. He honestly and completely answered my questions. I left my visit feeling confident and comfortable with the plan for future testing and care.
I went to Noran Clinic for 3+ years. I was recently sent a letter stating I was terminated from care. When calling to inquire it was due to missed appointments, I believe 3 in total 1) due to my mom’s health 2) coming home from her funeral - my PA said it was okay and ignore the letter about 24 hour notice and most recent I called and asked if I should attend since my cobra insurance was on appeal for month 2 and was supposed to be 5-7 days. Had a great experience with Dr. Evans very thorough a lot of helpful directions to follow
Dr Evans was down to earth and very honest as to what I should expect. He told me that I should come back and more tests would be done and then we will decide what would be the best way to go and treat my problem.
We were in shock and amazed at the same time - just being called in for his appt., Dr Evans first asked about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease?!?! No, we never had heard that word! We were led to understand his weakened & frail condition was due to the last 4 years of chronic UTI’s in his late 70’s. That it was common to experience weakening cognitive skills & mobility with frequent UTI’s in later years. Now we have Parkinson’s to add to his needs & treatment.
