RecommendedIts a shame this place closed. Was a beautiful place to spend a day shooting and enjoy nature.
It was one of the best ranges around. East Bay Regional Park dist SUCKS for letting this close. EBRP lied to the public about this
Just found out that EBRPD basically forced the range to close. How sad to hear another safe and fun place to bring your family has closed. I hope that the board of the EBRPD gets some good folks in there and the Club can re-open. There really aren't any other decent places to shoot in the bay area and none that can compete with the variety of disciplines offered.

One of the finest facilities in the state, with excellent staff and a great safety record. Closure of this range and the loss of the training opportunities that have been provided here will certainly result in the degradation of safety awareness. Tragedy will be the result. When this happens, the blood will be on the hands of the EBRPD directors and staff. Thanks to the CGC for years of education, camaraderie and good times.
Very well trained and disciplined staff, great range out in the hills if you're sick of the indoors. Had so much fun shooting my first AR-15. It's just really upsetting to know they're being forced to close. Great range!
This is a good spot for rifle work. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice time to be outdoors and while leaning how to shoot.
