Here's my story as to why the staff at this ER needs to be retrained on policies and procedures. I arrived at the ER after a fall from my stairs which broke my ankle. I arrived via ambulance in extreme pain. Five minutes after arrival I was placed in a room where I met a nurse. The nurse removed the splint the EMS had placed. She was rough and I had to ask her to hold my ankle while removing the splint as my ankle couldnt support itself and was hurting beyond words. The staff here are great, but they have very shady business practices. It’s pretty despicable when you need to charge patients for parking. $10 Dollars on top of the thousands they grafted me for for a 2 hour ER visit.
MY CHILDREN HAD GREAT SERVICE IN THE PAST SINCE 2010. STAFF WAS .HOWEVER, LAST WEEK END, THEY I BROUGHT MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER IN THE MERGENCY. SHE WAS AGITATED,SONINJELD HER HANDS TO CALMNHER DOWN, THE A STAFF YELLED AND CLAIMED INWAS HURTING HER AND SAYING THAT MY DAUGHTER DID NOT WANT ME- A SECURITY TREATEN TO KICK ME OUT - I EXPLAINED TOBTHEM THAT THE PATIENT THE STAFF DID NOT INTRODUCE HERSELF, INSITED THAT THE PATIENT NEED A SHORT, WHEN MY DAUGHTER REPEATLY SAYING SHE DID NOT WANT THE SEDATIVE- THEN HAD BLOOD TEST BEHIND... read more
I came to the emergency room from CHA Somerville urgent care..I got here at 2:30 pm I didn’t wait long to go in the back to be seen, I got a ekg and bloodwork done…I was suppose to get a chest X-ray my reason for coming was chest/back pain and pain radiating down my left arm (which is urgent) so was left in the room for over an hour I got the ekg results on MyChart still no one came in to discuss the results…then someone comes to take me for my chest X-ray and again I’m waiting with no one coming to check on me at all this i... read more
