I have been a CHA patient for the last 10 years, together with my family of 4, both kids and my wife , and every call or message to the center is a nightmere. Every attempt to ask for anything becomes endless loops of calls, nos buts etc. Talk only but no acceptable solution. Noone cares what you ask for, they dont value your requests, and sometimes, like today, they can be aggressive and rude. The only reason of us being their patient is Dr Joel Sawady, who is a very trustable, responsible and dependable doctor, PCP .
Doctors are great. LOVE Dr. Chen. Everything else is a night mare. People the I'll respond to you via portal and it's obvious they haven't read your message. I'm in a situation where I need medicine and the office swears I have medicine despite my telling that I do not. I'm out of my medicine and they honestly don't care. Very disappointed.
Being part of CHA has got to be a cheat code for healthcare. I get seen quickly, the doctors and staff are very responsive and even proactive in getting appointments scheduled, and for anything that they don't have in-house you'll get referred to one of the three CHA hospitals around. I've received such good and complete care here.
My husband and I have been CHA patients for 15 years, and I am sad to say that we have seen a steep and steady decline in the quality of care, management of the patient experience, and general humanity of the folks at CHA in the past few years. We understand the realities of a post-COVID healthcare landscape, strains on the system at an all time high while providers are at a low, and increasing pressure on providers per-patient time.
